Crescent Rolls with Meat
- 1 onion, chopped finely
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- Margarine
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons steak sauce (ALTERNATELY see below)
- 2-3 packages of easy-bake style crescent rolls
Sautee onion and garlic in margarine. Add ground beef, and brown.
Combine beef, onion and garlic with brown sugar and steak sauce.
ALTERNATELY, instead of buying steak sauce, you can make a medieval-style
steak sauce yourself by mixing the following with the meat, onions, and
brown sugar:
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/8 cup white vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon mace
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Roll meat mixture into each crescent roll. Baste with margarine.
Bake for 12-14 minutes at 375 degrees.
